NEW YORK and MT. STERLING, Ill., Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Roland Foods, LLC (“Roland Foods”), a leading branded purveyor of fine global ingredients serving the foodservice, retail, and industrial food industry for over 90 years, and Dot Foods, Inc. (“Dot Foods”), North America’s largest less-than-truckload consolidator in the food industry, today announced a strategic partnership that will bring their businesses closer together and make Roland® and Savor® products more widely available to food industry customers.

Under the agreement, Roland Foods will acquire Savor Brands, LLC (“Savor”) from Dot Foods, and Dot Foods will receive an equity interest in Roland Foods. The companies have also entered into a commercial agreement under which Dot will distribute both Roland® and Savor® products through its nationwide redistribution network.

For customers, the partnership will mean access to a broader product offering and more options for how they order and receive products. Savor adds new products and capabilities to Roland Foods, including a frozen portfolio and an expanded range of global ingredients. Roland® products are expected to become available through Dot Foods in early 2027. Roland® and Savor® products will also be available through Roland Foods’ existing distribution networks on a similar timeline.

“Savor is a strong fit with Roland Foods, both in the products it offers and in the way the team approaches quality and service,” said Keith Dougherty, Chief Executive Officer of Roland Foods. “Just as important, our new distribution relationship with Dot will make it easier for more customers to buy from us. We have known and respected Dot for years, and we are looking forward to what we can build together.”

“Roland Foods understands the import business, has a strong portfolio and shares our longstanding dedication to providing the highest level of service to customers,” said Joe Tracy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dot Family Holdings. “The combination of Roland’s sourcing expertise and our supply chain capabilities produces a powerful import solution for both Roland and Savor customers. Becoming a shareholder and distribution partner gives us a meaningful way to remain involved in Savor and help both businesses grow.”

“We have worked with the Roland Foods team for more than a decade, and this transaction is a natural next step for the business,” said Dan O’Connell, CEO and Founder of Vestar Capital Partners. “Savor broadens Roland Foods’ offering, while the commercial agreement with Dot improves the way those products reach customers. We are pleased to welcome Dot as a shareholder and partner.”

Until the transaction closes, Roland Foods, Savor and Dot Foods will continue to operate as they do today. After closing, customers’ existing orders, terms, contracts and service arrangements will remain in place. No immediate action is required. The companies will provide more information about the commercial rollout in the coming months.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
