James P. Kelley
Jim is the President of Vestar and was a founding partner of the firm. He was formerly a senior executive in the Management Buyout Group of The First Boston Corporation. Prior to that, he practiced law with a leading Colorado law firm.
Jim has a BS from the University of Northern Colorado, a JD from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the Yale University School of Management. He's a member of the Advisory Board of the Yale University School of Management and a Trustee of the Denver Art Museum and the Colorado Conservation Trust.
Originally from Colorado, Jim is married with three children and lives in Denver.
