KEVIN MUNDT NAMED PRESIDENT OF VESTAR RESOURCES
NEW YORK – September 20th, 2007 –Vestar Capital Partners, a leading international private equity firm, announced today the appointment of Kevin A. Mundt to President of Vestar Resources, the firm’s in-house strategic counsel resource for portfolio company management teams. In this role, Mr. Mundt will continue to develop and leverage the group’s expertise in the critical areas of risk management, operational improvements and organizational development. Following a twenty-four year career as a management consultant, Mr. Mundt joined Vestar in 2004 as a Managing Director with Vestar Resources. Previously he served as Vice President and Director of Mercer Oliver Wyman. He was the co-founder of Corporate Decisions, Inc. an international strategy consulting firm, which merged with Mercer Management Consulting in 1997. Mr. Mundt, an honors graduate of Brown University and the Harvard Business School, started his career at Bain and Company.
